ITD136 - Database Management Systems provides; (1) platform independent knowledge and tools to create efficient and effective relational databases; (2) best practices for defining, developing, and creating business database solutions.; (3) knowledge to install and implement an SQL database management system; 4) knowledge to effective use the SQL language for data retrieval and database maintenance.This course reviews the most of the material and concepts required for the CIW Database Design Specialist Certification.   Lecture 3 hours.  Total 3 hours per week for 3 semester credits.
